Hey everyone, did you miss me? （´・ω・｀）
Since I recently reached 800.000 subscribers, I decided to upload something again on my youtube channel to celebrate this milestone.

This video is a live footage from the piano concert in Beijing, the final city of my animenz live tour 2016 in china (after Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Xiamen, Changsha, Shenyang, Nanjing, Wuhan)

After playing anime songs for one and half hours in the Beijing Concert, my stamina was almost at its limit (you can actually see my face is quite messy in the video) but still, l wanted to play one special song as the final act:

A Digimon medley in memory of Kouji Wada.

He was the singer for many iconic digimon songs (e.g. Butterfly) and unfortunately, he has passed away this year because of his health problems.
Therefore, I wanted to play this digimon medley to honor his legacy and his legendary music.

The entire medley was improvised on the spot and in this moment, my mind was completely immersed in the music and I was recalling all the fond childhood memories of Digimon.

I didn't even realized that people were taking out their phones midway and waving along the music, until I have played the last note.
It was... how should I put it... a truly magical moment.
It's like I woke up from a beautiful dream.

And this is why anime (piano) music will always have a special place in my heart:
It is able to evoke incredible emotions of the listeners and that feeling of unity among anime fans - even if it's a just for a duration of a song - is simply second to none.

Anyway, my Animenz live tour 2016 in China was a big success and I had a wonderful time there: meeting up with all the fans in china, sightseeing in 9 different chinese cities, eating dinner together with the volunteer staff - it was once in a lifetime experience.

Therefore, once again:
Thank you for your support and for your love for Anime music!
I wouldn't have come this far without you.

Afterwards, on 4th october I will finally return to Germany and resume my music studies, and I will be on hiatus for one year (until my graduation in 2017)

Maybe, only maybe, I will upload some special videos every here and there on youtube. But don't expect too much, haha
