Emily Bear (16) performing "Bumble Boogie" to open Beauty and the Beast Live to Film at the Hollywood Bowl, Friday, May 25 with 100 piece symphony conducted by Michael Kosarin. The music for this animated segment was originally performed by Freddy Martin and His Orchestra (with Jack Fina playing the piano) and is a swing-jazz variation of Rimsky-Korsakov's Flight of the Bumblebee. Melody Time is the tenth full-length animated feature film in the Disney Animated Canon . It was first released on May 27, 1948 and was released to theatres by RKO Radio Pictures
