One of the greatest movie soundtracks ever, this is the main theme or flying theme in E.T.

This is my own Piano arrangement, I learnt some of the music by ear and some from the official sheets to create it.

I would have been about 3 when this movie was released and as a child I have very fond memories of the part in the movie when Elliott bikes off the edge of the cliff only to start flying with the help of his little friend, this is the powerful music that accompanies the scene.

The piece is complete genius in structure with a classic tension build up section that leads back, very powerfully, to the main theme in C about half way through the piece, epic tension and release. There are also nice key changes throughout that add so much character to the piece and the beautiful ending is very nostalgic as E.T leaves Elliott and planet Earth for good.

Perhaps he should have gone with him... I think I always wanted to lol.
