"Final Battle" from FF IX for me is the most interesting final battle track of all the Final Fantasy games. The long, eerie intro, the kick-ass bass line and the small harmonic snippets in between all those driving, grinding battle parts make it very enjoyable to play. It's not as hard as One-Winged Angel or Those who Fight, but definately challenging.
It took me a while to get warmed up with it though, so give it a few listenings, before you judge it. 😉
