Thought I would have a go at learning this on piano, so I came up with this arrangement for solo piano. The original, being very much a string only piece, gave me some hurdles to overcome so it sounded decent enough on just the piano. I wanted to learn and upload a version of this for many years but never got round to it.

This is one of my all time favourite pieces of music (it simply never gets old or boring), by any composer for that matter. Used stirringly in many movie trailers to great effect. And of course it was written for the 1998 movie - 'The Thin Red Line', probably again, to great effect, but I wouldn't know as I believe I may never have watched it all the way through, as it bored me to tears what I did watch of it (but that was when I was a lot younger and never could appreciate a good movie). In fact it may not have actually been used in the movie at all, how weird is that... Anyway hope you enjoy 😉
