After a nervous and anxious first performance, here's a more refined 2nd performance at Animethon, Saturday. Live performance is truly an exciting type of performance compared to youtube recording. With youtube, I can just simply re-record if I had a mistake or wrong note. But with live performing, everything is done with one take so both mental focus and technical skills need to be much more refined. As I have more live performances, I hope to improve on these aspects of playing.
To those who watched me at Animethon, those who talked to me, wanted to shake my hand, wanted a picture and autograph, I sincerely thank you! I was truly touched by the amount of support I received ;__; It makes the amount of practice and effort worth it. I have to say, I'm very much proud to be living in Edmonton! I met a couple of fellow Filipinos as well 😀
If I get to perform in other conventions such as in Calgary and Edmonton next year, I hope I can meet the same people again! I can't believe what I'm missing out by not attending anime conventions in the past...
