I am devastated by the death of Charlie Kirk. He was a champion of free speech. He was an extraordinary man because rather than ostracize the other side, he would sit and dialogue with them. Despite holding opposite views, Charlie treated his adversaries with respect, kindness, and compassion. His voice became powerful and transformed people's thoughts and beliefs because he engaged them with reason and truth. He was courageous enough to sit in front of many who hated him, and he put himself on the front lines to create change. Charlie will go down a hero, a martyr, and an example of how to engage with the other side in a country that feels continually fragmented and polarized by our differences. A great voice of our century has been hushed.

Charlie, I applaud you, and you are now with your savior. Good work my friend. I will carry the banner of truth, boldness, and courage forward. This piano improvisation is my gift back to you. You inspired my heart with your dialogues. You championed truth. You had unwavering conviction and kindness. I will miss your videos. But I will also stand up straighter to be a light in the world. Your death was not in vain. You were a champion, and I pick up your sword to continue turning the hearts of America back to goodness, truth, and beauty. Jesus Chris is King.
