His piano solos have emerged as historic in both live and recorded performances, and they have changed the way we think of music. Video Game Pianist performed in 17 countries and at E3, PAX, GDC, German Games Convention, Brasil Game Show, among others.

As a classical pianist, Martin Leung holds degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Musi (BM ’08, pupil of Paul Schenly and Daniel Shapiro), the Yale School of Music (MM ’10, pupil of Claude Frank), and the University of Southern California (DMA ‘15, pupil of Stewart Gordon). Martin won prizes in international piano competitions. In November 2016 Martin won the Zoltán Rozsnyai Memorial Prize at the Los Angeles International Liszt Piano Competition, Division VII (Concerto). Last November Martin gave his European concerto debut, playing Liszt Piano Concerto No. 1 in E-flat Major at the Leipzig Gewandhaus with the Akademisches Orchester Leipzig and maestro Horst Förster.
