This is the full extended version of 'An End Once And For All' composed by the great Clint Mansell. I learnt this arrangement by ear from listening to the original track.

Having not played any of the Mass Effect video games I cant obviously comment on the infamous ending or my opinion of it, which apparently sucks big time lol. But at least this sublime piece of music gets some due credit, its amazing and I really enjoy playing it, I feel I can put a lot of emotion into the piece with the way its crafted.

I use the Yamaha S6 Grand Piano sample on my CP4 stage piano for this recording as I feel it suits it perfectly. It is a very dark, woody and natural sounding piano. I also bring in a soft pad sample called 'VPsoft' about a quarter of the way into the piece for added effect/atmosphere. The 2 samples really work well together I think you will agree. The piece still sounds amazing with out the pad sound in the background, but I could not resist adding it, I bring it in the same time as the original track brings in strings. To top things off I added a tonne of reverb to the track as the original is very spacey too.
