Me playing this piano masterpiece by Michael Nyman from the movie 'The Piano'.

I have never watched the full movie but apparently its excellent. The soundtrack on the whole is beautiful and this particular piece is the highlight, Its one of those pieces that is just made for piano. Its complete and utter genius and I have played it all my life and is very popular with aspiring pianists.

This is one of those pieces you must bring out the top line melody note for it to work as it is originally intended, not so easy at first, but comes with practice, rather like the first movement of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, but in this case, in a sense, more complicated, as there are far more melody notes to bring out/accentuate - not just the top notes at times either.
