Thought I would pay my respects to the passing of this well-respected and highly-awarded singer who gave nearly every American goosebumps with her powerhouse vocals in and around the 80's and 90's. Her performance of the U.S. National Anthem during the 1991 super bowl has not been topped to this date, imo.
