Me playing this little beauty from the Final Fantasy VII Piano Collections album, based on music from the epic Playstation game Final Fantasy VII. Probably the greatest computer game ever made (one of my favourite games anyway ), and a stunning soundtrack by the now legendary video game composer Nobuo Uematsu.

This is the third piece I have covered from Nobuo Uematsu and from the Final Fantasy series of games. This piano solo is an arrangement by Shirō Hamaguchi who arranged all the piano collections. It is a nice classical style arrangement, if a bit on the tricky side, I must admit this is certainly the hardest piece I have had to record over the years, I am never keen on these types of pieces, as the hardest part is at the end, which took me the longest to play properly. Not the most difficult of pieces by any means, but for me it is more of a recording nightmare, slip up at the tricky end and its back to beginning...and so on...and on ..and on, you get the idea.

This recording is a tiny bit rough round the edges in terms of mistakes, but I feel I did a good job overall so I decided to upload it anyway 🙂 I dont have the time to perfect it without note errors/slip ups currently as I need to move on to other pieces.

Thanks for listening

Mark 🙂
