Hai to Gensou no Grimgar ending theme on piano!

I asked you guys if I should watch Grimgar, and the resounding answer was “Yes~”.

Well, I did watch it; and I really like it!! The focus on character development and character chemistry is just fantastic. I can totally understand why people get bored with it. If you’re looking for less characters and more story, then this anime isn’t going to satisfy you. For me, I’m always socially awkward so anything that delves in depths of character flaws is always welcome in my book.

I have to say though, aside from the lack of story, the world building is also out of focus. It’s the assumption that it’s like SAO where people are trapped in another RPG-esque world, but that’s even just speculation (I can only speak from watching anime; I haven’t read the light novels). So if someone’s expectations is with these two narrative points, they will not enjoy it.

For me, it has enough of what I like to enjoy it~ :3

I hope you guys enjoy this cover! I really really love the music in this anime. The slower songs in particular - the ending theme and insert songs - really hit the mark ;__;
