This melody from the third movement of Schumann's Op. 47 Piano Quartet has not left my head for nearly a month now, so it was about time I made a video of me playing the tune over and over :). To me, it perfectly represents the heart ache of a couple in a long distance relationship. Or maybe that's just me, haha. What do you think this melody represents? I know for sure it has to do with love considering it has the "Clara" motive in it! For those of you who don't know, whenever Schumann uses descending 7ths, you know he's writing with his wife, Clara, in mind.
