Last June I competed in the San Jose International Piano Competition! Here's my classical piano performance from the first round. I was selected as one of 11 pianists out of 27 pianists to advance to the semifinals.

My program with time stamps:

7:24 J.S. Bach - Chromatic Fantasia and Fugue in D Minor, BWV 903 - Fugue
14:12 Kapustin - 24 Preludes in Jazz Style, Op. 53, No. 2
16:10 Kapustin - 24 Preludes in Jazz Style, Op. 53, No. 18
18:23 Prokofiev - Four Etudes, Op. 2, No. 1 in D Minor

The repertoire requirement for the first round was as follows: one piece in a polyphonic style by either Bach, Buxtehude, Hindemith, Mendelssohn, Shchedrin, Shostakovich, or Taneev, one virtuoso etude, and one piece by a Russian composer. The piece in a polyphonic style must be an original work. Pianists could perform their piece
