Since creating with his friend Luigi a Super Mario Medley viral video in 2004 that received approximately 50 million views, "brilliant" (The Times of London) Video Game Pianist shares his joy of playing video game music on the piano in both online and offline venues. He is considered one of the first musicians to perform video game music on a solo instrument. He has performed at the Leipzig Games Convention, Blizzard Worldwide Invitational in Paris, Brasil Game Show, Jonathan Club, Penny Arcade Expo, Electronic Entertainment Expo, Game Developers Conference, Blizzcon, San Francisco Comic Con, Indiana Comic Con, and Tampa Bay Comic Con, SITACon, and Harucon, among others. From 2005-2012 Video Game Pianist performed with Video Games Live. In 2007 Video Game Pianist played Super Mario music in the presence of Shigeru Miyamoto and Koji Kondo in San Francisco. In 2006 Video Game Pianist performed at an I AM 8-BIT party for Capcom Japan and Capcom USA employees. In 2005, Video Game Pianist performed two solo video game music recitals at the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, Texas, as part of the Celebrity Guests Signature Series. After one recital, he gave 23 encores.
