ABOUT THIS PIECE: Bach planned this Fugue to have the tempo of 56 bpm per quarter note, which was his default or most common "Andante" speed when applied to pieces with dominant triplet 16ths. (With no triplet 16ths, its tempo would be 54 bpm instead of 56.) Half speed makes it 56 bpm per eighth note, which I try to achieve in this video.
