Original title of this video was planned as " How it's made - pianos ".There are tons of those on YouTube: Steinways, Mason & Hamelins, Faziolis....ah, and they also ALL claim to be making " the greatest piano ever". LOL! If you know the old joke about Cremona violin makers ( Amati , Stradivari and Guarneri - all working on the same street in the same small town, one putting shop sign up "Best violins in Italy", another - to outdo the competitor," we make the best violins in the world". What was left for 3rd one than to modestly say" We make the best violins on the block") So, let's me be modest too and just say Bösendorfer makes the best pianos on a block 🙂
One thing for sure, this piano is not MADE, it's BORN, born with a help of so many people putting countless hours of amazing handwork . This is not a machine, it is a living breathing creature that enables us musicians to make our magic on stage 🙂
