Composed by the living genius Michael Giacchino, this is a medley of 2 different themes from Star Trek: Into Darkness - London Calling and the terrific main theme, also featured in the first movie of course, and I presume will be used in subsequent movies.

I had immense fun learning this by ear, it was more challenging than some other pieces to pick out the notes by ear, but I think I got it pretty spot on overall. I am particularly fond of the main theme of the new star trek movies, named Enterprising Young Men I believe in the first movie, but is also the main theme that is used throughout. I have not yet seen the movie, but I hear London Calling was used to good effect in the movie Into Darkness, and the piece itself is beautifully dark in F minor.

I think this is one my best performances to date too.
